Since winning the Great British Bake Off in 2016, Candice’s left her role as a special educational needs and PE teacher and took up her passion of baking. She has since opened The Greenman in Eversholt, written 2 cookbooks ‘Comfort’ & ‘Happy Cooking’ alongside countless TV/Radio and podcast appearances.

Candice named Margo’s after her Grandmother who inspired her to bake. Opening in Woburn with a fresh enthusiasm to contribute even more to the Bedfordshire food scene.

You’ll be able to buy her cakes, cookies, brownies and more on the deli counter. Her talent and personality is shown all across the whole Margo’s experience and we couldn’t do what we do without her incredible drive and ideas.

Candice loves talking all things baking, dogs, food and Margo’s so stop her for a chat if you see her!

Building Margo’s with his own bare hands, Ben has put his heart, soul… and his weekends into making Margo’s so beautiful. From the plug sockets under your chair to the beautiful strip lighting and the gorgeous curved bespoke marble bar. Ben has designed and executed the referb to an outstanding quality and one his Grandmother would’ve been immensely proud of.

Ben, alongside his sister Candice, bring a wealth of hospitality experience up the road from their pub in Eversholt. Ben doesn’t rest on the successful running of his flagship establishment and is hoping to add Margo’s to his growing list of successful Bedfordshire hospitality establishments.

At the age of 24, Chris has achieved a lot in his short career. From being part of the team that won a Michelin Star at Restaurant 22, Cambridge to a First Class honours degree in Culinary Management. Now back in his home county, Chris is eager to show what he can do.

Every step Chris has taken in his career has led him to this moment of opening Margo’s. Unlike most chef’s, Chris’ skill set lies in the whole customer experience. Trained in the kitchen and front of house Chris’ quality driven approach and personality is seen across all aspects of Margo’s. The coffee, food, wine list and even the playlist, Chris is super motivated to make Margo’s the ‘Place to go’ in Bedfordshire.

Inspired by the European methods of eating whilst travelling, Chris wants to create a more social, family aspect to the dining experience. This is reflected in his simple yet effective menus.

Chris likes to come into the restaurant and deliver his plates, so feel free to stop him and chat to him about all things Margo’s, Luton Town and music.
